K - 3 Special Education Teacher
- Special Education Teacher
  
  Our Lady of Mount Carmel School is seeking a dedicated and highly organized K–3 Special Education Instructor for the 2026-2027 school year. This role is essential to our mission of serving all God’s children by providing targeted academic support and ensuring that students with diverse learning needs thrive. The instructor will serve as the primary link between the classroom, the family, and external specialists, focusing on early intervention during the critical foundational years of literacy and numeracy.
  
  Responsibilities include:
  Collaborate with OLMC ducators, Carmel Clay Schools, and Parents to draft intervention plans and assist in the process of identifying learning needs of children.
  Work with K - 3 within and outside the classroom to meet their diverse learning needs.
  Partner with other educators in the Special Education department to foster a cohesive schoolwide approach to meeting the needs of all children.
  Assist in the adminstration of the DIBELS assessment, and partner with teachers to develop interventions for struggling students.
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

  Our Lady of Mount Carmel School is seeking a prayerful and dedicated educator to serve as a Catechist for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) program, serving students in Grades K–4. Unlike a traditional classroom, CGS takes place in the Atrium - a specially prepared environment where the child and the catechist together encounter the "Interior Teacher." We are looking for a candidate who can foster a culture of sacred silence and tranquil joy, helping children fall in love with God through their own contemplation of Scripture and the Liturgy.
  
  Ideally, candidates will have completed Level 1 (Ages 3-6) and Level 2 (ages 6-9) CGSUSA-recognized formation. If not already trained, no worries! We have training opportunities to share with you.
STEM Teacher

  Our Lady of Mount Carmel School is seeking a creative and energetic Part-Time STEM Teacher to lead our Kindergarten through 4th-grade students in a dedicated, hands-on discovery learning experience. This role is designed for an educator who lives for "lightbulb moments" and wants to foster a foundational love for the Engineering Design Process and Investigative Learning.
  In this role, you will transform the classroom into a hub of innovation where students don’t just learn about science—they do it!
  Apply if you are a tinkerer and a thinker who thrives on student-led discovery. You possess the ability to simplify complex concepts into engaging, K–4 appropriate projects and are comfortable using a variety of materials—from recycled "maker space" items to modern educational tech.

Substitute Teacher

  Qualified candidates should have:
  Some college education
  A teaching license is not required

  Flexibility and organization are a plus!
  Pay is $70 per day, $35 for half day. (For the application, you do not need to complete questions 1-3 on page 4.)
Recess Monitors

  We are looking for recess monitors for the '25-'26 and '26-'27 school years.
  Work one day a week (or more)
  11AM-12:30PM daily (when school is in session, rain or shine)
